Procedures

We offer a comprehensive range of advanced eye surgeries including ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens), LASIK, Cataract surgery with premium IOLs, Glaucoma treatment (MIGS), Retina treatment, and Keratoconus (Corneal Cross-Linking).

LASIK reshapes your cornea using a laser, while ICL involves implanting a lens inside your eye. ICL is often recommended for patients with high prescriptions, thin corneas, or chronic dry eyes who may not be suitable candidates for LASIK. Both procedures are safe and effective; the best choice depends on your individual eye health and prescription.

The right procedure depends on your eye health, prescription, age, and lifestyle. During your free consultation, our surgeons will perform a comprehensive evaluation and recommend the most suitable treatment for your specific needs.

LASIK

Yes, LASIK is one of the safest and most widely performed procedures worldwide. Our success rate is over 98.6%, and we use advanced bladeless technology (Femtosecond laser) for maximum precision and safety. Our surgeons will conduct a thorough evaluation to ensure you're a suitable candidate.

No. Numbing eye drops are used before the procedure, so you will not feel pain. Some patients may feel mild pressure during the procedure, but it is generally comfortable.

The laser part of the procedure takes about 30 seconds per eye. The total time in the laser suite is usually less than 20 minutes. Most patients are in and out of the clinic within 1–2 hours.

Most patients notice clearer vision within 24–48 hours. You can typically return to work within 2–3 days. Full vision stabilisation usually occurs within 1–3 months.

Yes, LASIK can correct astigmatism along with myopia (nearsightedness) and hyperopia (farsightedness). Our surgeons will assess your astigmatism during the consultation to determine if you're a good candidate.

ICL

ICL is designed to be permanent but can be removed or exchanged if needed. The lens is made from a biocompatible material that does not degrade over time.

No. The ICL is positioned behind your iris and in front of your natural lens. You will not feel it, and it will not be visible to others.

Yes, toric ICLs are available to correct astigmatism. Your surgeon will determine the best lens option for your specific prescription during the consultation.

It depends on your individual eye health. ICL is often preferred for patients with high myopia (up to -20 D), thin corneas, or chronic dry eyes. LASIK is generally suitable for mild to moderate prescriptions with adequate corneal thickness. Your surgeon will help you choose the best option.

Light exercise can be resumed after 1 week. Contact sports should be avoided for at least 1 month to allow proper healing.

Cataract

Cataract surgery is recommended when the condition significantly affects your daily activities such as reading, driving, or recognising faces. You don't need to wait for the cataract to become "ripe" — early intervention often leads to better outcomes.

The surgery typically takes about 20–30 minutes per eye. It is performed on an outpatient basis, so you can go home the same day.

It depends on the type of intraocular lens (IOL) you choose. Monofocal lenses usually provide clear distance vision, but you may need reading glasses. Multifocal and toric lenses can reduce or eliminate your dependence on glasses. We offer a range of premium IOL options to suit your lifestyle.

No. Cataract surgery is typically performed on one eye at a time, with a gap of 1–2 weeks between surgeries. This allows the first eye to heal properly before the second procedure.

Glaucoma

There is currently no cure for glaucoma. However, it can be managed effectively with eye drops, laser therapy, or surgery to lower intraocular pressure and prevent further vision loss. Early detection and treatment are key to preserving your sight.

Glaucoma surgery (like MIGS) is designed to provide long-term pressure reduction. However, some patients may still need to use eye drops after surgery. Regular follow-ups are essential to monitor your eye pressure.

The goal of glaucoma treatment is to prevent further vision loss, not to improve existing vision. You may not notice any immediate change in your sight, but the treatment helps protect your remaining vision from future damage.

Retina

Some retinal conditions can be treated and vision can be improved, especially if caught early. However, severe damage may be irreversible. Early detection and timely treatment are critical for the best outcomes.

Retinal laser treatment typically takes 10–30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. It is performed on an outpatient basis.

No. Retinal procedures are performed under local or general anaesthesia, so you will not feel pain during the surgery. Some discomfort may occur during recovery, which can be managed with medication.

If gas was used during your surgery, you should avoid air travel for 4–6 weeks. Always consult your surgeon before making any travel plans.

Keratoconus

CXL is a minimally invasive procedure that strengthens the cornea to stop the progression of keratoconus. It involves applying riboflavin (Vitamin B2) eye drops to the cornea and then activating them with UV light, which creates new cross-links between collagen fibres to stiffen the cornea.

No. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia using numbing eye drops. You may experience mild discomfort or light sensitivity in the first few days after surgery, but this can be managed with medication.

The epithelial layer usually heals within 1–2 weeks. Full vision stabilisation typically occurs within 3–6 months. Your surgeon will schedule regular follow-ups to monitor your progress.

No. CXL is the only treatment that stops the progression of keratoconus. Rigid contact lenses can improve vision but don't treat the underlying condition. In advanced cases, a corneal transplant may be necessary if CXL is not performed early enough.

Cost & Insurance

Costs vary depending on the procedure and the technology used. For reference: LASIK starts at ₹60,000 per eye, ICL ranges from ₹80,000–₹1,50,000 per eye, Cataract surgery from ₹50,000–₹1,50,000 per eye, and Glaucoma treatment from ₹40,000–₹1,20,000. We provide a detailed breakdown during your consultation.

Yes! We offer flexible EMI options starting as low as ₹1,800 per month for most procedures. Our financing partners provide 0% interest EMI plans for eligible patients. Speak to our team to find a plan that fits your budget.

Yes. We partner with all major health insurance providers including Aditya Birla, Care Health, Niva Bupa, Star Health, Bajaj Allianz, HDFC ERGO, ICICI Lombard, and Tata AIG. We also work with top TPAs for seamless cashless claims.

No. We believe in complete transparency. All costs are discussed and clearly explained before you proceed with any treatment. You'll receive a detailed breakdown of all charges during your consultation.

Recovery

Recovery depends on the procedure. LASIK patients typically return to work within 2–3 days, ICL patients within 2–3 days, Cataract patients within 1–2 weeks, and Glaucoma patients within 1–2 weeks. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up visits to monitor your progress.

Most patients with desk jobs can return to work within 2–3 days after LASIK or ICL. For cataract and glaucoma surgery, we recommend 1–2 weeks of rest before returning to work. Your surgeon will give you specific guidelines based on your procedure.

You should not drive on the day of surgery. Most patients can resume driving within 24–48 hours after LASIK or ICL. For cataract and glaucoma surgery, it may take 1–2 weeks. Always check with your surgeon before driving.
